-  Plan review on all Commercial / Industrial Building Plans. Seven (7) Complete sets required.
-  Site Plan and Storm Water Retention Plan Review  Referred to Department of Public Works Engineer, Sixteen (16) Copies  Required.
-  Site Plan Meeting with Public Works Recommended 30 days before building plans submitted for plan review.
-  Site Plan for all new  construction more than 10,000 Sq. Ft. must be approved by the Planning Commission. (MEETING DATE ON 4TH TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH.)
-  All  requests for Planning Commission Hearings must be filed with Code Enforcement Office.

** Documents filed for Planning Commission must meet requirements in Subdivision and Land Development Regulations Hand  Book.

COMMERCIAL BUILDING PLAN REQUIREMENTS

5. Complete Electrical plans including reflected ceiling plan
6. Complete H.V.A.C. Plans

8. Sprinkler Plans and Shop Drawings
9. Site Plan: Including all utilities
** A complete set  of plumbing and gas plans with risers must be submitted to the State Plumbing Division and a letter of approval must be in hand before a Building Permit can be issued.

Footing details, building details, electrical, H.V.A.C. Plans must be stamped  and signed by engineer licensed in State of Arkansas.

All architectural plans must be stamped and signed by registered architect in  the State of Arkansas with necessary documentation as required by Arkansas Fire  Prevention Code, Section 106.1.7.

Seven (7) copies must be submitted to this office for plan review.

Building permit cost is based on the rate of $.08 per square foot under roof including overhangs.

Arkansas State Surcharge will be collected at the rate of $0.50 per $1000.00 Construction Contract Cost.

All subcontractors are to be licensed with the State of Arkansas in their  respective field of work.
