Natl Drug Take back Event

Takeback Event

It is time to clean our your medicine cabinet of outdated, unused or unwanted medications (prescriptions and non-presriptions).  If you find that you have anything like this in your cabinet or on your shelves, this is a great time to get rid of them.  Takeback is a great service to our community because it promotes a safe method of getting rid of our unused medications and keeping them out of the hands of our your or those that may abuse the usage.

On Saturday, October 28th, 2017, the National Event is underway, and you can take them to the Harrison Police Department or to the Boone County Department from 10 to 2.

Harrison Police Dept
116 N Spring
Harrison, AR  72601

Boone County Sheriff's Office
5800 Law Drive
Harrison, AR  72601

Both have locked drop-off bins at their locations for drop offs at any time.

We encourage you to "Monitor, Secure and dispose of your prescription medications.  Store medicine in a locked box.  Then remove old medications, but DO NOT flush unwanted drugs, or place in trash.
