2019 Gasoline & Diesel Annual Contract

The City of Harrison is requesting bids for a Gasoline & Diesel Annual Contract.  The Contract Term will be for February 1, 2019 through January 31, 2020.  Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained from the Harrison Department of Public Works by calling 870-741-3434.

Bids must be submitted on the forms included with the Bid Documents and such forms shall not be removed from the remainder of the Bid Documents.  Unsigned bids will be rejected.  Questions regarding this bid should be directed to the Director of Public Works at 870-741-3434.

Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked as “Bid – Gasoline & Diesel Annual Contract”.  Bids will be received at the Mayor’s Office in City Hall until 2:00 PM (local time), WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 30, 2019 at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read in the Council Room adjacent to the Mayor’s Office.  The physical address for City Hall is 116 S. Spring, Harrison, AR 72601.  Bids received after the prescribed date and time will not be read and will be returned to the bidder unopened.  Facsimile transmittals WILL NOT be accepted.


  Annual Material & Street Repair Contracts

The City of Harrison Department of Public Works will accept sealed bids for annual contracts for various street repair materials and services.  Three separate annual contracts are included in this notice:

  1. Annual Contract for Concrete and Concrete Materials
  2. Annual Contract for Street Overlay, Milling, & Repair Services
  3. Annual Contract for Street Repair Materials

All three Contracts will be for the period of March 1, 2019 through February 29, 2020.

Copies of Bid Documents and Specifications may be obtained from the Department of Public Works Office located at 303 N. Third Street, Harrison, AR 72601 or from the City of Harrison’s website at the following web address:

Bids shall be completed on the official bid sheets included with the Bid Documents.  Bids shall be sealed, clearly marked on the envelope as a bid for the appropriate contract and delivered to:

Bids for all three contracts will be received until 2:00 PM (local time), on Wednesday, January 30, 2019; at which time bids will be opened and read in the City Council Chamber at City Hall.  Any bids received after the deadline will be returned to the bidder unopened.

  *The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities deemed to be in the best interest of the City.  The City further reserves the right to withhold the awarding of the contract for a period not to exceed 30 days after the receipt of bids.
