To start water and sewer service:  You will need to complete an application, provide a copy of your Drivers's License, and put down a deposit of $100 (for homeowner) or $200 (for renters).

To shut off water and sewer service:  Contact our office (in person or by phone) with the effective date, and provide a forwarding address.

 Water bills are due by the 15th of every month.  Any past due balances are subject to disconnection after this date.  There is a $50 re-connect fee to have water turned back on, if disconnected.  If you go on-line to pay after a disconnect or near the due date (after the 20th of the month), please call the Water Dept (870-741-2525) to confirm payment.  This will ensure that you will be re-connected.

On-line payments are available through most banks.  Or you can sign up to receive your water bill on-line, and make payments on our website (, but remember, it takes 3 business days for funds to arrive in our office.

Bank-draft is also available through the City of Harrison.  To set this up, simply bring in a voided check, and complete our form.  Or you can set this up on our website (  Note:  You will still receive a bill (for records purposes only).

Trash Services:  Trash service is required for all households in the city.  Trash pickup charges will be added on your water bill.  Inquire when setting up water and sewer service for rates and specifics.

To report a break in a line: Contact Water & Sewer Maintenance at 741-6382 during business hours.  If after hours (and emergency situations), contact Harrison Police Dept (Dispatch) at 741-5463, and they can forward info to appropriate personnel.
