The City of Harrison
is hiring for the following positions:
General Laborer-Sewer Dept (1)
Applicants must be able to do routine work and manual tasks, with the ability to do heavy
physical labor efficiently. Applicant must be able to obtain a Class 1 Municipal Water License
in the time allotted and the ability to obtain a CDL within sixty days. It is also very important
that applicants work well with others and can work under very unforgiving and harsh conditions
at times depending on weather conditions. Other job duties will be discussed during the

Accepting applications for a Full-time Firefighter and Part-paid firefighters. Applicants will be required
to pass an entrance exam and pass a physical fitness course. Applicants must be at least 18 years
of age and have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must have a valid
Arkansas driver’s license with a clean driving record, and an Arkansas State Police background
check. And drug testing will be required for employment. If hired for full-time position, applicant
will be required to spend nine weeks at the Arkansas Fire Academy in Camden, Arkansas.
