The City of Harrison
is hiring for the following positions:
General Laborer-Sewer Dept (1) (SUSPENDED)
Applicants must be able to do routine work and manual tasks, with the ability to do heavy
physical labor efficiently. Applicant must be able to obtain a Class 1 Municipal Water License
in the time allotted and the ability to obtain a CDL within sixty days. It is also very important
that applicants work well with others and can work under very unforgiving and harsh conditions
at times depending on weather conditions. Other job duties will be discussed during the

(This is a paid-on-call program to assist the ful-time staff of the Fire Dept)
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age;have graduated or have a high school equivalency certificate;
complete and pass a Arkansas Police background check with no felonies and/or violent criminal history;
complete and pass a drug screening; a US citizen; valid drivers license; good physical condition and pass a physicians physical;
possess a valid Arkansas Class D Driver’s License; and live within 20 miles of the city limits.

Applicants must be 18 years of age; possess a valid driver’s license; possess a high school diploma
or GED; have no felony record/convictions; be able to work any shift; pass an extensive background check
