Wastewater Treatment

Aerial Photo of WWTPThe Wastewater Treatment Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the City’s wastewater treatment plant and six wastewater treatment pump stations throughout the community.  We believe the protection of both human and ecosystem health in our region is vitally important.  We strive to maintain our great quality of life by providing wastewater treatment services, which involves the removal of contaminants from industrial wastewater and residential sewage, for the citizens of Harrison.

Our staff works hard to eliminate overflows and preventable odors at all of our facilities.  We would appreciate any resident who has concerns to please call 870-741-5527.
